Product Overview

  • The Maxitek Armour D is an excellent cut resistance handling glove with a superior fit, whilst maintaining a very high degree of comfort and dexterity, with a durable polyurethane coated palm for handling items with sharp edges. Now with touchscreen finger tips for convenient use with mobile phones and other similar devices.


    Seamless 13 gauge High Performance Polyethylene (HPPE) and glass fibre cut-resistant liner provides resilience, flexibility, excellent dexterity and comfort.

    More than eighty percent of hand injuries are caused by cuts and lacerations; this statistic highlights the importance of wearing cut resistant gloves when handling items with sharp edges.

    Abrasion, tear and cut resistant PU coating to the palm and fingertips, prolongs service life.

    Added feature of a reinforced thumb crotch enhances durability and protection in a critical grip area, whilst minimising premature wear. 

    High puncture resistance of level 3 – now a minimum requirement on many construction sites to resist injuries from puncture wounds and splinters.

    Extended elasticated cuff provides a secure and comfortable fit, whilst offering added protection to the wrist area.

    Breathable back reduces perspiration and skin irritation.

    Touchscreen compatible fingertips allow for use of mobile devices without the need of removal – nb. applies to medium, large and x-large, denoted by touch screen logo on the back of the glove.

    Maxitek gloves are anatomically designed for high levels of comfort and dexterity, minimising hand fatigue.

    Latex-free – allows those with latex allergies to wear without discomfort or adverse reactions.

    Grey liner with prominent green coloured printing to the reverse of the hand, for consistency with the universal colour code systems for cut resistant handling gloves.

    High cut resistance to level D under the latest EN 388:2016 standards. This most recent testing method was developed for a more accurate representation of actual cut level performance. Under the old testing procedure, Armour D would have met the highest cut level 5 standard.

    CE approved by a reputable testing facility.

    Available in sizes small (size 7), medium (size 8), large (size 9), extra-large (size 10) and extra-extra-large (size 11).

    Conforms to EN 420:2003/A1:2009 general requirement for consistent and accurate sizing.
