    FAQs

What is a jack saw used for?

A jack saw is a type of handsaw primarily used for general purpose cutting, particularly in woodworking. It is referred to as the "jack-of-all-trades" of the handsaw world. It’s not the best at any one specific task, but it’s good enough for most general cutting needs.

How do I choose a good hand saw?

We understand that there are many good hand tools on the market and making a decision can be difficult. Think about what you’ll be using the saw for most often, consider the blade length and TPI that best suits those tasks, and choose a handle that feels comfortable.
