Product Overview

HMT Versadrive Max Spiral Point Taps are heavy duty, impact rated taps for use in challenging industrial applications. Based on the bestselling Impacta Taps, they are double hardened with a unique cutting geometry that makes them suitable for use with impact wrenches. The VersaDrive MAX product range develops the patented VersaDrive shank into new territory for the most demanding industrial applications. The standard VersaDrive shank measures 11mm (AF) the heavy-duty VersaDrive MAX shank are 20mm (AF) meaning it can be used in higher torque applications. This increased shank strength means that VersaDrive MAX taps can be used to power larger diameter tapping sizes up to M42 when used with the VersaDrive MAX adapters which accommodates the larger 20mm (AF) shank and can withstand the highest levels of torque.
