Bevel Mate® Version 3.0 – 12 Bevel Cutter Heads
Product Overview
-
Bevel Mate® Version 3.0 bevel cutter heads have been developed to be used for the machining on harder steels such as S355 and laser or plasma cut edges. The version 3.0 cutter heads are manufactured from specialized blends of carbide which then undergo state-of-the-art precision CNC grinding technology and finished with distinctive high-end coating which ensures heightened durability and an enhanced smoothness to the cutters. Due to the improvements applied to the version 3.0 cutters the tool life is increased by as much as 200% when compared to STL series cutter heads when used in combination of the 3.0 machines. These cutters guarantee impeccable and consistent results ensuring that the bevel remains exactly the same from start to finish.

Bevel Mate® Version 3.0-12 bevel cutters are available in 30°, 37.5° and 45° with a depth of cut of up to 12mm.
Bevel Mate® Version 3.0 bevel cutter heads also offer an environmental advantage when compared with abrasive discs which would traditional be used for these applications. Using abrasive discs produces a very fine dust which is then emitted into the workplace resulting in a dusty and unhealthy working environment. The metal chips removed by radius cutter heads are much heavier in comparison and fall directly to the ground as metal chips.
The cut on the bevel cutter heads is designed to cut through the metal in such a way that it produces far less vibration and noise when compared with working with abrasive discs or machines with carbide inserts. The latter have a far less efficient cutting action and tend to chop the edge off rather than cut it.
Unlike other solutions which need you to make additional adjustments to the machine, all you need to do with the Bevel Mate® bevel cutter heads are change the cutter and bearing, which makes the Bevel Mate® cutter head solution unique. Switching between different angles with the Bevel Mate® bevel cutters can be achieved within seconds.
Due to the cutting action of Bevel Mate® bevel cutter heads, they give the advantage that minimal heat is generated to the material to be machined. Therefore, there is less chance of deformation of the metal and no discoloration of the machined cutting edge.
With every new Bevel Mate® version 3.0 bevel cutter head, you also receive a replacement guide bearing. The diameter of the guide bearing is 16mm allowing it to be used to bevel holes as small as 41mm in diameter.
