Bevel Mate® Inox Radius Cutter Heads
Product Overview
-
When used in conjunction with the BevelTools Bevel Mate® Inox machines the Bevel Mate® Inox radius cutter heads guarantee perfect and fast machining of stainless-steel grades such as 304 and 316. The new Bevel Mate® Inox cutter heads have been specifically developed for stainless steel and feature an adjusted geometry and a special coating. This combination reduces the friction between the stainless steel and the cutter significantly and helps to make producing a radius on stainless steel much easier. The cut on the Bevel Mate® Inox radius cutter heads is designed to cut through the metal in such a way that it produces far less vibration and noise when compared with working with abrasive discs or machines with carbide inserts.

Bevel Mate® Inox radius cutters are available in 2mm, 3mm,4mm and 6mm radiuses.
Bevel Mate® Inox radius cutter heads also offer an environmental advantage when compared with abrasive discs which would traditional be used for these applications. Using abrasive discs produces a very fine dust which is then emitted into the workplace resulting in a dusty and unhealthy working environment. The metal chips removed by radius cutter heads are much heavier in comparison and fall directly to the ground as metal chips.
Unlike other solutions which need you to make additional adjustments to the machine, all you need to do with the Bevel Mate® Inox radius cutter heads are change the cutter head and bearing, which makes the Bevel Mate® cutter head solution unique. Switching between different radiuses with the Bevel Mate® Inox cutters can be achieved within seconds.
Due to the cutting action of Bevel Mate® Inox radius cutter heads, they give the advantage that minimal heat is generated to the stainless steel being machined. Therefore, there is less chance of deformation of the material and no discoloration of the machined cutting edge
With every new Bevel Mate® Inox radius cutter head, you also receive a replacement guide bearing. The diameter of the guide bearing is 14 mm allowing it to be used to radius holes as small as 16 mm in diameter.
